The
Kiwanis Club of Meriden is made up of people
just like you. Since 1930, our members have been
active in the greater Meriden area through
service and support to the community and its
youth.
Today, our more than sixty dedicated members
raise funds for organizations including the
Meriden Boys and Girls Club, Girls Inc. of
Meriden, local youth sports leagues, Beat the
Street Community Center, and our youth service
leadership programs (K-Kids, Builders Club and
Key Club) at seven Meriden schools. In addition,
we engage in hands-on service projects such as
our annual Bike Rodeo.
We are also involved with projects and
organizations across New England including the
Kiwanis Pediatric Trauma Institute at Tuft’s
Medical Center, and across the world through
Kiwanis International’s worldwide service
project to eliminate maternal/neonatal tetanus
from the face of the earth. We in the Kiwanis
Club of Meriden are very proud of our service
and ability to make a difference locally,
regionally, and globally, while having a great
time doing it! |
